I spent yesterday (Wednesday) in NYC with my parents. It was generally a good day. We saw two Broadway shows ("Inherit the Wind" and "Curtains"). On my way out of Grand Central (in the wrong direction, incidentally) I ran into the lovely Daina, who thereafter threatened me with, "Now that I know you actually do make it into the city, I'm gonna be on your ass to come visit!"
On the way back to the station that night, I passed by Joy Behar, who can be seen in the video below (yellow jacket), coincidentally aired on "The View" that morning. I don't watch the show, but I have seen it, and I've seen a sampling of the Rosie scandal (something about Donald Trump?). I'm not sure what it is, but something about Joy Behar makes me respect her. The show, however, not so much. And this clip makes it clear why four women with opposing opinions and more ego than grace shouldn't be given their own show: it becomes a shouting match and no opinion is heard.
